Get Involved with your Doctor

Care for your health!

It is important to have a good relationship with your primary care physician. They need to understand what you are going through with chronic multi-symptom illness and other problems. Come up with a plan together and try to take it one step at a time.

Your Treatment Plan

You and your Doctor should have a treatment plan for your illness. Start with a binder of notes, add your medications, supplements, and what you will do to manage symptoms. Bring it to all appointments and update it with them.

Supplemental Treatment

GWI Veterans often suffer from vitamin deficiency. Talk to your doctor about Vitamin D3, Magnesium, and B12 levels.

Chiropractic Treatment

Chronic pain can come in many forms, but that doesn't mean you have to suffer. Have you ever considered Chiropractic care? This too can be covered by the VA if you are service connected.

Alpha Wave Therapy

Is a newer approach to help with stress, ptsd, and depression, amongst other symptoms. It is a painless handheld device that transmits a signal to the brain to stimulate nerves. A session can leave a euphoric and calming feeling after just 20 minutes. Talk to your VA Mental Health Team.
